Marc Ciprut
Marc Ciprut is a guitarist, songwriter, and producer from New York. His music is influenced by the many different musicians he grew up listening to. Everyone from Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, George Benson and Grant Green to Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Donny Hathaway. His music reflects these influences in his own unique way. It’s a mix of Blues, Rock and Jazz.
Marc’s early years found him performing and recording in New York with everyone from Joss Stone and The Baha Men to Lenny White and Kenwood Denard. In recent years he has turned his attention to writing and producing music for himself as well as various other artists.
His latest project is a showcase of both his eclectic guitar playing and his unique songwriting. It is a perfect fusion of the music that has influenced him coming together to create his own voice. It features some of the finest musicians in the world: Jimmy Haslip and James Genus (Bass), Scott Kinsey, Jon Cowherd, Jeremy Manasia, Etienne Lytle (Keyboards), Tommi Rautiainen (Drums), and Steven Santoro (Vocals). The album consists of seven instrumental songs and two songs with Vocals featuring Steven Santoro. The songs are all originals except Cissy Strut by The Meters. The two vocal songs were co-written with Steven Santoro.
Marc is currently signed to a worldwide distribution deal with White Label Records. Marc’s album is currently available on all digital platforms.
